A sumptuous study of Jane, the beautiful daughter of Sir John Fleming who married the 3rd Earl of Harrington in 1773. The original painting was commissioned in 1775 before her marriage when she was still Miss Fleming and the print was engraved in 1780 once she had become the countess.
